Alcohol Diet, unlike chocolate and peanut butter those two words usually don’t go great together; the question most people ask “can you drink alcohol on a diet and still lose weight?” Traditionally most diet plans don’t normally call for a heavy dose of alcohol as a diet option; however, I do know a guy who lost about 60 pounds in 2 1/2 months by drinking grapefruit juice and vodka 90% of the time, (Highly Not Recommended!) There are 2 key things he did that could have helped also, # 1 he slept about 9 to 10 hours a day so he was well rested and number 2 he drank a lot of water.

Unless you have been hiding under a rock I am sure you know what a Flabongo is by now; we at The Cocktail Envy wanted to pay tribute to our friend the Flabongo by creating a tribute shot, we call it The Pink Flabongo Shot. Inside The Cocktail Envy test kitchen we were looking for something pink (like the Flabongo), tropical & sweet yet pack a punch of whoop ass. After hours of testing here is what we came up with.

The Pink Flabongo Ingredients

1 part X rated Fusion Liquor

1 part Pinnacle Whipped Vodka

Splash of Grenadine to color

Mix it up

Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice; put on the lid and shake it like crazy. Strain into chilled shot glasses and serve. Flabongo, what the heck is a Flabongo? According to the Urban Dictionary: it is a beer bong made out of a flamingo lawn ornament. We at The Cocktail Envy wanted to see first hand what everyone was going buck wild over, so we took it upon ourselves to purchase one. Let’s just say Nick over at Flabongo.com knocked it out of the park with this one. This pink flamingo beer bong is sweeping the Planet and I could not wait to open mine up and give it a try. I decided to give my Flabongo a test drive with a Bud Select 55 to keep it on the lighter side, this seemed to be a good choice since the Flabongo is no tame bird; the beer shot out almost twice as fast as a traditional beer bong. This pink flamingo is way more than a beer bong, hundreds of thousands of people are sending in photos and videos of there Flabongo experiences from wedding party’s to bonging wake board riders and everything in between I have never seen anything like it. One group even dressed up like the pink flamingo beer bong. Party goers are customizing it, be-dazzling it and to some, it seems like they don’t leave home without it. The Flabongo gets 5 stars in my book and I can’t wait to see what they can possibly come up with next.

Lava Flow Drink Recipe, The Lava Flow is definitely one of the top tropical cocktail recipes and another one of my favorites. This Hawaiian inspired cocktail is fancy looking yet very simple to make; your friends will be at awe when you walk out with a tray of these tropical cocktails. We create the Lava Flow cocktail with a blend of strawberries, bananas, coconuts, rums and pineapple. Simply follow our instructions below and you will look like a pro when you serve your Lava Flow.

Ingredients:

2 ounces of smashed fresh strawberries

1 banana

2 ounces Dole pineapple juice

2 ounces coconut cream

1 ounce Light Rum

1 ounce Coconut Rum

1 cup of ice

Mix It Up:

In a blender or magic bullet add 1 banana, the 2 ounces of coconut cream, 2 ounces of pineapple juice and about a cup of ice. Blend until fully mixed and slushy then set to the side. In the bottom of a chilled highball glass or frosty mug add the smashed chilled strawberries, and both types of rum; stir around until well mixed. Hit the blender one more time to remix the first mixture then gently pour the pineapple, coconut, banana mixture down in the center of the glass; the strawberry rum mixture should start rising up and throughout the mixture simulating the lava flowing. Garnish the Lava Flow with a pineapple wedge and or an umbrella if you wish, drink and enjoy.
